The Tavern Bar, NaamaBay was opened by proprietors Charlie and Monty in the summer of 2003. Both Charlie and Monty had arrived previously in Sharm from the UK to fulfill careers in diving before deciding to open their first bar to cater for the ever growing European tourist and local ex-pat market.
The central venue soon became a popular location for theme nights, big screen sport, good pub grub (including the traditional Sunday lunch), numerous parties and the home of the traditional pub atmosphere.
In 2005 Tavern to Go opened close to The Tavern Bar in NaamaBay and was the first place to offer bacon butties and other fast good food for delivery and takeaway. It is now offering some fine fish and chips and traditional fry up breakfast and open for business 24 hours a day.
2006 saw the opening of T2 at the Rock Hotel in Hadaba. Ideally located to serve the ever growing number of hotels in the area and the nearby residential village, the venue has a large outside terrace, on site parking and prides itself it in it’s warm welcome and traditional ‘local’ environment where everyone can become a local however long or short their stay.
What ever your idea is of a good night out, Tavern can promise to make it happen…whether you visit one or all of our venues during your stay here we look forward to welcoming you through our doors very soon!
